Grenoble Airport is ideally positioned for the ski resorts in the Tarentaise, Paradiski and Three Valleys (Trois Vallees), with transfers times from Grenoble of between 1 to 2 hours only.

Grenoble Airport itself is located outside the town of Grenoble, so also suffers much less with traffic than do more centrally located airports such as Geneva, making Grenoble transfers quicker and easier.
